Dress code guidelines for NEET (UG) candidates issued by NTA

The National Testing Agency (NTA), which is conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG 2019 [NEET (UG)] this year, has released a set of guidelines regarding the dress code.
NTA has laid out strict instructions and the candidates are instructed to follow these rules.
NEET (UG) 2019 is scheduled on May 5 from 2 PM to 5 PM.

Shoes, full sleeves clothes prohibited as per NTA guidelines
Details
As per the guidelines, candidates are allowed to wear only light clothes with half sleeves and full sleeves clothes are strictly prohibited.
Moreover, candidates can only wear sandals and slippers with low heels, while shoes are not allowed.
The guidelines state, "It is desired that the candidates follow instructions issued by the NTA strictly. This will help in the fair conduct of the examination."
Candidates wearing customized clothes need to report much earlier
Fact
Those candidates wearing customized attire because of cultural or customary reasons can be exempted from following the rules. However, they have to report to their respective examination center much earlier and latest by 12:30 PM in order to maintain the sanctity of the examination.
Over 15 lakh students to appear for NEET (UG) 2019

The above guidelines will be followed to avoid any misconduct during the examination and maintain its authenticity.
NTA has received more than 15L applications for NEET (UG) this year from India and abroad.
Last year, a total of 13L students appeared for the exam.
NTA is outsourcing exam centers this year to accommodate applicants as the exam will be conducted in paper-pen based mode.
What is NEET (UG)?
About
NEET (UG) exam is conducted annually for admission in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in government-approved Indian medical and dental colleges.
From this year, NTA will be conducting the exam. Earlier, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was responsible.
Also, from 2019, students opting for medical courses abroad also have to take NEET (UG).
