China: landslide hits 2 homes leaving 4 missing


(MENAFN) Local authorities declared that four people have been uncounted for after landslides sparked by unexpected rainstorm hit southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.

On Friday afternoon, the municipality's Guanba Township was struck by heavy downpours,
leaving two homes collapses and four people uncounted for.

The speculated precipitation recorded 169.8 mm, causing 12,000 cubic meters of soil landslides.

Search and rescue operation has been launched.
