Myanmar: truck crash kills 2, wounds 21


(MENAFN) The Home Affairs Ministry declared that two people have died at the scene with 21 more wounded in a truck crash in Myanmar's capital Nay Pyi Taw.

The collision occurred in Zeya Thiri township on Tuesday afternoon, the last day of Thingyan water festival.

A truck, carrying 24 passengers, was heading to attend Thingyan water festival Tuesday when it collided with a lamp post and capsized on Thantaman road.

The wounded have been taken to the Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital.
