After cancer treatment, Irrfan Khan begins shooting for 'Angrezi Medium'

Ever since Irrfan Khan returned to Mumbai from London post his cancer treatment, there have been speculations and presumptions about his onscreen comeback.
And, ending the wait, he has begun shooting for Angrezi Medium in Udaipur today.
Notably, this movie is a sequel to his 2017 comedy Hindi Medium.
Irrfan was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine tumor last year and he went off limelight immediately afterwards.
'Hindi Medium' sequel will be known as 'Angrezi Medium'

Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh, through a Twitter post, made the announcement of the commencement of shooting, while sharing Irrfan's first picture from the sets in Udaipur, as he posed with producer Dinesh Vijan and director Homi Adajania.
Taran also revealed that the Hindi Medium sequel will be titled as Angrezi Medium, not English Medium.
After Udaipur, team will 'take off for the international schedule'

Reportedly, Angrezi Medium will also be shot in London. The team is expected to move to London after completing their Udaipur schedule "It is an important portion after which they will take off for the international schedule," a source close to the filming process stated.

Helmed by Adajania, Angrezi Medium will have an interesting storyline, which is expected to appeal to the masses.
"The film will not just address the issues of Hindi medium students in the US but also those of the students from other countries who face trouble fitting into a system where English is the primary spoken language," a source was quoted as saying.
'Angrezi Medium' to see Kareena as a cop
Cast
According to media reports, apart from Irrfan, Angrezi Medium will also star Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan in lead.
It was reported that Radhika will essay the role of Irrfan's daughter in the movie.
On the other hand, Kareena will, reportedly, don police uniform for the first time for Angrezi Medium.
This will be Irrfan's first collaboration with both Kareena and Radhika.
