Islamic bloc lauds success of Arab summit
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) JEDDAH, April 2 (KUNA) -- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) said on Tuesday that pan-Arab talks held recently in the Tunisian capital yielded positive results, as the objective for the summit has been achieved.
In a statement, the regional bloc's secretary general Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen spoke highly of the close rapport the OIC shares with the Arab League, which proved instrumental in the success of the talks.
The OIC supports all decisions taken during the summit, particularly efforts to find political solutions to conflicts around the region, he added. (end) nsa.nam
