Amid debt crisis, Jet Airways' chairman and wife quit

With Jet Airways going through a crisis, chairman Naresh Goyal and his wife Anita quit the company on Monday, claimed reports.
The company was founded nearly 25 years ago. It remained in news for all the wrong reasons recently like being debt-ridden and the inability to pay salaries of pilots.
Naresh is in London and reports suggested he may address 23,000 employees of Jet from there.

Earlier today media reports suggested Naresh will quit and as a result shares of the company surged. Shares of Jet rose by 3.87% on Monday morning to hit an intraday high of Rs. 234.80 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
