Hamas prisoners conduct stabbing attack in Israeli jail
(MENAFN) Palestinian Hamas inmates conducted a stabbing attack against Israeli wardens in prison, wounding two, the Israel Prison Service stated Sunday.
A spokeperson for the Prison Service emphasized in a statement that the attack occurred at the Ktzi'ot Prison in southern Israel, a facility selected for Palestinian inmates.
A total of two wardens were wounded and wanted medical treatment. The spokesperson did not provide information id there are wounds among the inmates.
The rare attack was conducted by inmates identified with Hamas, an Islamist movement that runs the Gaza Strip.
