Greek supermarket chain sacks manger over forcing positivism among employees
(MENAFN) A regional sales manager of Greek supermarket chain "My Market", who requested workers to smile, for they should be thankful that they obtain a job amid crises and are getting paid with 300 euros (336.7 U.S. dollars) per month, was sacked, according to the company.
The manager's message to the employees triggered backlash in social media and the press.
A spokesperson of the firm declared the dismissal of the specific director, explaining that "she acted alone, we had to remove her."
The message which was reproduced by Greek media earlier this week, revealed that the ex-manager was attempting to impose thankfulness and positivity among workers all the time, despite the condition or the fact that they are underpaid.
