Riyadh condemns terrorist attack in Egypt's Sinai


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia has denounced the terrorist attack on a checkpoint in Egypt's North Sinai that killed and wounded several members of security forces on Saturday.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), an official source at Saudi Foreign Ministry stressed that the Kingdom stands by Egypt in its fight against terrorism.
The source offered condolences to the families of the victims, and the Egyptian government and people.
The Egyptian army declared the killing of seven militants in the attack, noting that 14 security personnel were killed or wounded. (end) mdm.hm
