Syria denounces U.S. meddling in Venezuelan matters
(MENAFN) Syria denounced the meddling of the United States in Venezuela's internal affairs, breaching standards and international laws.
U.S "flagrant interference" is considered as a violation of Venezuela's sovereignty, the Syrian Foreign Ministry stressed on Thursday.
Syria also voiced its support through the Foreign Ministry to the Venezuelan government in its efforts to protect its sovereignty and thwart "aggressive" U.S. plots.
It comes after Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido announced on Wednesday his decision to be considered as an "interim president" of Venezuela.
