UN's Guterres decries terrorist attack in Colombia


(MENAFN) UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned the terrorist attack which stuck Bogota, the capital of Colombia, on Friday.

A vehicle bombing targeted a police academy in the Colombian capital, leaving several deaths and injuries.

In a statement, the secretary-general's spokesman Stephane Dujarric conveyed Guterres' condolences to the families of the deceased, hoping a fast recovery to the wounded.

The statement said: "the Colombian authorities have indicated that they have proof that this terrorist act was conducted by the ELN (National Liberation Army). The perpetrators must be brought to justice."
