Turkish stock index ends 1.69 percent high
(MENAFN) Turkey witnessed a 1.69 percent boost in its benchmark stock index, as it ended its Friday trading session at 98,454.88 points.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index was confirmed to have opened Friday session with an increase to hit 97,192.90 points, recording 1,637.52 points of profit.
Throughout the end of the day, the benchmark index stood between 97,046.00 and 98,662.21 points.
By the day's end, the stock index registered USSD1.44 billion in its daily trade volume while the total market value reached USD119 billion.
