(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MUSCAT, Jan 14 (KUNA) -- US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met on Monday with Sultan Qaboos bin Said, pondering a host of regional and international affairs, according to the official Oman News Agency (OMNA).
The discussions between the visiting US official and the Sultan also dealt with means of boosting bilateral relations between Muscat and Washington.
Pompeo, who arrived in the Sultanate earlier today, was expected to hold discussions with the Omani official in charge of external affairs, Yusuf bin Alawi, and other leaders of the Sultanate. (pickup previous) ahr.rk
