Sri Lanka- Foreign visits by new Government to be reduced

(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) Foreign visits by the new cabinet to be appointed next week will be reduced, the United National Party said.

Responding to a question posed at a media briefing today, UNP deputy leader Sajith Premadasa said that even Parliamentarian Vasantha Senanayake, who was accused of making several trips overseas when he was a Minister, will limit his visits in the new cabinet.

Premadasa said that the focus of the new cabinet will be to go to the village and address the main issues faced by the people. (Colombo Gazette)
