Turkish president decides with his Paraguayan counterpart to boost bilateral ties


(MENAFN) On Sunday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Paraguayan counterpart Mario Abdo Benitez decidd to further reinforce bilateral ties during a meeting in the capital Asuncion.

In a joint press release, published after the private meeting, the leaders hailed "strong diplomatic relations between the two countries".

Paraguay and Turkey will open diplomatic tasks in Ankara and Asuncion concurrently, according to the statement.

It added that Turkey's first ambassador to Paraguay will be Armagan Inci Ersoy.
