Oman- Grand Hypermarket to open outlet in Bahla today
Announcing the new outlet, Aboobacker Mohammed, executive director of Regency Group for Corporate Management, said, 'It gives us immense joy to announce the launch of our sixth outlet in the sultanate. We have witnessed an overall growth in the retail segment in the GCC countries and particularly in the sultanate. Consumers have accepted our concept of hypermarkets which provides convenience and an international shopping experience all under one roof.'
Addressing a press conference at Grand Hyatt Muscat last week, Abdul Gafoor Kodappanakkal, regional director of Regency Group in Oman, said, 'This new outlet will make us more accessible and closer to our consumers in the sultanate.'Ramesh Parole, general manager, said, 'Our vision at Grand Hypermarket is to be the first choice of customers by setting high standards of customer satisfaction. We at Grand are committed to providing values to stakeholders, employees and business partners.'
Ibrahim Thevarthodi, regional operations manager, said, 'Despite the prevailing unfavourable market conditions, we could make inroads into new markets.'The company officials stated that the opening of the hypermarket in Bahla is yet another landmark in the history of retail operations of the group. The outlet is located in Mamour for easy access for people in and around Bahla.
The mall is spread over 75,000sq ft, with branded stores, a food court and children's play area with spacious parking slots introducing a new shopping experience for Bahla residents. Shoppers will enjoy a wide variety of products from various countries at competitive prices and high quality service.The hypermarket will have a fruits and vegetables section with the freshest produce exclusively flown in from around the globe, offering uncompromised quality standards. It will source items from various firms in India, China, Turkey, Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and European countries to ensure the highest quality standards at the fairest prices.
The hypermarket will have numerous major brands of garments, electronics, household items, toys, stationeries and accessories.The group's other outlets are located in Saham, Sohar, Saham al Falaj, Ruwi in Muscat and Ibri.
