Suhail Bahwan Group organises Omani Women's Day celebration

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- As a tribute to the significant role the Omani women play in building the nation and home, Suhail Bahwan Group celebrated the Omani Women's Day in all cheerfulness and colours. Omani women employees of the group, many of them donning colourful traditional Omani dress, gathered at the Group's headquarters in Qurm.

Sheikha Amal Suhail Bahwan, vice chairperson of the group, joined her Omani colleagues to celebrate the joyous occasion by cutting a cake followed by a lively interaction with employees.

Amal said, 'The Omani women have received special attention and care of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said that has led them to play a prominent role in the development of Omani society over the years. We are proud of what we have achieved under his wise leadership. Today's women are more knowledgeable, stronger, more empowered and reaching greater heights. What better occasion there can be than celebrating it on the Omani Women's Day!'

Omani Women's Day is celebrated across Oman in response to the Royal directives of His Majesty the Sultan allocating October 17 as the day for the Omani women, in appreciation of the Omani women's participation in the growth and development of the Omani society. Suhail Bahwan Group has been marking this special occasion every year with joy and pride.
