Pakistan puts rapist, murderer to death
(MENAFN) Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) declared that Imran Ali, who was found guilty of raping and murdering a child, Zainab aged 7, in Kasur, has been executed in Kot Lakhpat Jail in the early hours of Wednesday.
He was fatally hanged in the presence of Judicial Magistrate Adil Sarwar, alongside the father of the victim Muhammad Ameen Ansari and other relatives.
The murderer's corpse was later on given to heirs who shifted it to their native village.
Zainab's father declared that he was content with the verdict and with witnessing the defendant's execution.
