The reconstruction of the road connecting Chukhur Yurt-Sis-Galeybugurd-Kechmedin-Galaderesi villages of Azerbaijan's Shamakhi region is nearing completion, the State Motor Road Agency of Azerbaijan said in a statement Sept. 27.
Upon completion of the construction work, 98 road signs, 640 reflective posts will be installed on the roadside, road markings will be applied on the surface of the road segment with the length of 48 kilometers.
The reconstruction of this road will improve the transport connection between the four residential settlements, the rural population will get a convenient exit to the regional center and the neighboring areas, thus they will be able to quickly deliver agricultural products to the markets.
