UAE's TRA, Cisco agree to accelerate digital adoption
(MENAFN) The UAE's Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) and Cisco inked a memorandum of understanding to strengthen relations and speed up digital adoption.
The agreement was confirmed to be holding great significant to Cisco's Country Digital Acceleration (CDA) programme in the UAE.
The CDA programme targets the reinforcement and growth of strategic ties with national leadership, industry, and academia in order to spur the national digitization plan.
TRA's director general Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori stated "developing the UAE's digital infrastructure is one of the government's major drives."
The director general added "it is closely aligned with the leadership's directives to provide a favourable environment for technological development that enables future solutions, while contributing to the objectives of the national agenda and the UAE Vision 2021."
