Oman- PASFR board discusses 2019 budget

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The board of directors of the Public Authority for Stores and Food Reserve (PASFR) on Sunday held its fourth meeting for 2018 under the chair of H E Dr Fuad bin Ja'afar bin Mohammed al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries and the chairman of PASFR board.

PASFR board reviewed the implementation of decisions made at its previous meeting. It also reviewed its budget for 2019 and its closing accounts.

A presentation was given on activities of Oman Food Investment Holding Company in food security projects. The presentation also touched on a report of the second quarter of 2018 on global prices of food commodities.

The PASFR board also discussed minutes of internal tender committee's meetings, as well as minutes of auditing committee's meetings upon which appropriate decisions were taken.
