Kuwait- Apple unveils three new iPhone models
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) WASHINGTON, Sept. 12 (KUNA) -- Apple unveiled three new iPhones on Wednesday in California ranging from USD 749 to USD 1,449 with preorders beginning on Friday.
The iPhone XS is the successor of the iPhone X and starts at USD 999. This device goes up to 512 GB and has a Super Retina OLED 5.8 inch display with 3 million pixels and 458 ppi.
It also has improved water resistance to 2 meters for up to 30 minutes. Its battery lasts up to 30 minutes longer than the iPhone X and has a 12 megapixel camera.
"Everything is state of the art including the industry-first 7-nanometer A12 Bionic chip with 8-core Neural Engine, faster Face ID and an advanced dual camera system that shoots Portrait mode photos with Smart HDR and dynamic depth of field," said Apple Senior Vice President of Marketing Phillip Schiller.
The iPhone XS Max has the biggest screen and battery, with a price starting at USD 1099. Its storage also goes up to 512 GB with a 6.1 inch display.
Its battery lasts an hour and a half longer than the iPhone X and features the same screen and bionic chip specs of the iPhone XS.
The iPhone XR starts at USD 749 comes in a variety of colors and is made of an aluminum body, which differs from the other glass models. It has a 6.1 inch LED screen, a step down from the OLED one.
It has a single lens camera and storage up to 256 GB. Other specs include an A12 bionic chip, a 12 megapixel camera with wide-angle lens and a 326ppi Retina display. Its battery will last an hour and a half longer than the iPhone 8 Plus. (end) ak.ibi
