UN denounces deadly Kabul suicide bombing
(MENAFN) The UN Security Council (UNSC) expressed its condemnation to the deadly attack which struck the Afghanistan capital, Kabul, slamming it as a "heinous and cowardly terrorist attack."
A suicide bombing has hit an education center located in Kabul on Wednesday, causing at least 48 people to lose their lives and several others inflicted with injuries.
Terrorism is considered as one of the most threatening issues imposed against international peace and security, the council stressed in a statement.
It also highlighted the necessity of making the perpetrators, organizers, financiers and sponsors of terrorism acts held liable and be subjected to justice.
