CAIRO, 4th July, 2018 (WAM) -- Dr. Saleh Abdul Rahman Al Sheikh, Chairman of the Central Authority for Organisation and Administration, CAOA, in Egypt, praised the UAE's efforts to exchange expertise in the areas of excellence, innovation and government work development.

He made this statement during the "Egypt Government Excellence Conference" that was held in Cairo, which aims to promote the strategic partnership between the UAE and Egypt, exchange expertise, and review the best government work practices of both countries.

"The secret to the success of any individual, institution or country lies in their administrative excellence, and Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of Egypt, offers an example of this. Egypt is advancing and can succeed, due to the support of the UAE, whom we thank for its support and efforts to exchange expertise in the areas of excellence, innovation and government work development," Dr. Al Sheikh said.

He added that to achieve Egypt's administrative reform plan, it must first meet the challenges related to organisational structure, manpower productivity, legislation, public assets, public services, governance and cultural frameworks.

"The sustainable development goals of the Egypt Vision 2030 are the compass for us, and they rely on a competent administrative authority to complete the required assignments within specified timelines and at a reasonable cost, to perform their role in Egypt's advancement and offer quality services. We are capable of overcoming all these challenges," Al Sheikh said in conclusion.
