UK man attacks Newcastle United defender Ciaran Clark
(MENAFN) Police declared that Newcastle United defender Ciaran Clark has been ambushed in a Spanish pub.
A British man in his 30s, has been detained after beating the footballer at Crystal's Bar in Punta Ballena, Magaluf, at around 02:00 BST.
Clark was left unresponsive and was rushed to hospital after a dispute between him and the man has erupted.
Clark, aged 28, sustained cuts and bruises to his face.
