Russian submarine completes missile trials successfully
(MENAFN) Russia has reportedly been successful in test-launching rockets of its Project 955 Borei-class strategic nuclear submarine Yuri Dolgoruky.
The successful mission has been announced by the Russian North Fleet which was cited by TASS news agency.
The Russian North Fleet declared four Bulava ballistic missiles to have been launched from the White Sea, aiming at the Kura range on the Kamchatka Peninsula.
It also stated that such an accomplishment implies the complete preparation for battles by the Project-955 Borei strategic submarine and the Bulava missile system.
