Legal status of Caspian Sea to be discussed in Astana

The regular meeting of the Special Working Group of the Caspian littoral states on the preparation of the Convention on the legal status of the sea will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan, May 21-24, 2018, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Trend May 21.
A delegation led by Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov is on visit to Astana in this regard.
During the meeting, along with the Convention's project, it is also planned to discuss other documents related to the Fifth Summit of the Heads of the Caspian littoral states.
As part of the visit, it is also planned to hold bilateral political consultations between the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
