Eliud Kipchoge wins London Marathon
(MENAFN) Britain's Mo Farah has finished the race at the third place in the London Marathon, achieving a new record as Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge won the race for the third time.
Farah followed the leaders' pace for most of the race, however, he ended up scoring two minutes five seconds behind Kipchoge.
He passed the line in two hours, six minutes and 32 seconds, breaking Steve Jones' 33-year-old British record.
The Olympic champion was contesting in his first 26.2-mile race since he retired.
