Qatar- Joint Special Forces holds landing course with Italy

Doha: The Joint Special Forces concluded today, the Aerial Landing / Dropdown Course, which was held in cooperation with Italy with the support of transport wing and Helicopter (Agusta and Commando) related to the Emiri Air Force, and lasted for six weeks, at the Qallayl Square.
The closing ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs H E Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah, Commander of the Joint Special Forces Brigadier General H E Hamad bin Abdullah Al Futtais Al Marri, and the Italian Defence Attache in Doha Colonel Maurizio Patane.
During the training, the trainees received the most important curricula and topics that enable them to provide air support by using planes to drop the supplies that are transported from the safety zone to the ground for support in times of peace and attribution during wartime.
One of the most important topics dealt with during the landing was the training of the Paratroopers Battalion on the processing and dropping of the container (A-7A) and container (A-21) for light dropping, (T-10) for light dropping, processing and dropping container (A-22) and container (A-22) double for middle dropping, (G-12) for the middle dropping, in addition to C-130 plane presentation from the inside and the way the equipment is installed from take-off to dropping, and to determine the weights and sizes of the equipment to be dropped.
For his part, Brigadier General Hamad bin Abdullah Al Futtais Al Marri, Commander of the Joint Special Forces, said that the Special Forces were able to reach the most remote area and get down fully with the equipment, mechanisms and ammunition behind enemy areas to carry out operations with special force deep inside the enemy.
