Jordan- Fair weather forecast over weekend


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, March 16 (Petra)-- The weather on Friday is expected to be fair as a cool air mass will affect the Kingdom with possible rain on the northern regions in particular, meteorologists said.

Later in the night, cold conditions are forecast in the badia and mountainous regions, while pleasant weather is predicted in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

As we head into Saturday, a slight rise in temperatures is predicted, bringing relatively warm conditions in the hilly and badia regions, and warm in the Jordan Valley and the port city of Aqaba.

Thermometers on Sunday will nudge 6-7 degrees Celsius above annual average bringing warm conditions.

Temperatures in Amman for the next three days will record a high of 17 degrees Celsius and a low of 7 degrees, while mercury levels in the northern regions will range between 16 degrees, dropping down to 6 degrees at night. The port city of Aqaba will register 28 degrees during the day, sliding to 16 degrees at night.
