Afghanistan- 14 Taliban killed, 20 injured in Zabul operation

The operation in Ishaqzai area of the district was launched at about 1pm on Thursday and wrapped up at 8pm, said deputy provincial police chief Col. Ghulam Jilani Farahi.
He said 14 taliban militants were killed and more than 20 others were wounded in the operation that left only two policemen wounded.
He said one motor car, eight bikes, four guns, mines and a large number of bullets were confiscated during the operation aimed at securing the Zabul-Kandahar highway.
There has been no word from the Taliban about the operation.
