Oman- Mars Hypermarket, Al Khoudh launches '100% organic fruits and vegetables' section
The launch witnessed the presence of Narjes Mohamed Mirza, owner and founder, Pairidaeza Organic Farm, Dr V T Vinod, managing director of Mars International, Naveej Vinod, executive director, Saif al Malki, GM Administration, Unnikrishna Pillai, GM, management and staff of Mars, members of the media fraternity and a huge crowd of customers. A range of vegetables are showcased in the section including tomato, cucumber, capsicum, eggplant, cabbage, lettuce and turnip. Mars will promote the organic produce through their vast network of stores across the sultanate.
'We are happy to promote the local organic options and provide awareness to more customers. We are delighted to be a part of this initiative to provide the customers the best and healthy products,' said Dr V T Vinod.'We are selling the fruits and vegetables that are grown locally and certified by US dept of Agriculture and Onecert. We are planning to launch this section across all outlets very soon,' said Naveej Vinod.
