Jordan- Fair weather today, cold mass affects Kingdom tomorrow


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Jan. 13 (Petra)--A rise in temperatures is expected on Saturday becoming 5-6 degrees above their seasonal average. Therefore, fair conditions will prevail in most regions with south easterly moderate winds, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Tomorrow, the Kingdom is forecast to be affected by a cold air mass that will bring a substantial decrease in temperatures.

Scattered rain is expected in the northern and central regions while winds will be westerly moderate to brisk raising dust in the desert areas.

On Monday, cold and cloudy weather is expected with a continued chance for light rain in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom.

Temperatures in Amman today will range between a high of 18 degrees Celsius and a low of 7 degrees while mercury levels in Aqaba will register a high of 26 degrees dropping down to 12 degrees at night.
