Kuwait- Woman among 3 citizens caught using drugs

(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Dec 18: Three Kuwaiti citizens — two men and a woman — were arrested for consuming methamphetamine inside a car in Andalus area. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen, while patrolling Andalus area, noticed a car with three occupants parked in an open yard. Due to suspicions, securitymen approached the car and requested the occupants to show their identity documents, which revealed that the three individuals are Kuwaitis. When securitymen noticed that the three individuals seemed to be in a disoriented state, they conducted a precautionary search of the vehicle and found methamphetamine and drugs paraphernalia. The three citizens were referred with the confiscated items to the Drugs Control General Department for necessary legal action.

Asian nabbed: An Asian expatriate was arrested in Mangaf area in possession of 16 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen arrested him while he was on his way to sell the liquor bottles to his clients at a cost of KD 10 per bottle. He was referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities for necessary legal measures.

Reduce music volume': An Asian woman lodged a complaint against her compatriot colleague, accusing her of assaulting her. According to security sources, the woman lodged the complaint at Jahra Police Station, stating that her colleague, who lives with her, assaulted her and injured her only because she asked the suspect to reduce the volume of the music that was being played in the apartment. Instead of reducing the volume, the suspect turned on her and assaulted her after a verbal confrontation.

Wanted by law: A Kuwaiti citizen, who is wanted by law for enforcement of a judicial sentence, was arrested in Sabhan area. According to security sources, Mubarak Al-Kabeer securitymen were patrolling Sabhan area when the citizen's car sparked their suspicions. They asked the driver to pull over and present his identification document.
