Drive away with QR300,000 at Qatar Summer Festival mega raffle

The long-awaited Qatar Summer Festival (QSF) mega raffle draw will be held today at the Mall of Qatar to mark the conclusion of the longest summer festival yet organised by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA).

It will be a day packed with activities and entertainment kicking off with a parade throughout the mall, which will lead mall-goers to the Oasis stage for the raffle draw which will see 11 winners walk away with cash prizes worth a total of QR300,000 and a luxury car. The programme will culminate in a public concert. 'All of Qatar's locals, residents and visitors are invited to the QSF's grand finale at Mall of Qatar to mark the end of the country's longest running summer festival, said Saif Al Kuwari, Director of PR and Communication at QTA.

Customers in participating malls are able to enter the raffle draw when they buy QR200 worth of products from retail outlets of QSF participating malls entitling them to a raffle ticket during the festival period which started on June 25 and lasted for 11 weeks.

Meanwhile, the third summer edition of Doha Comedy Festival (DCF) brought roars of laughter to the Qatar National Convention Centre Theatre on Sunday night. The audience at the sold-out event enjoyed performances by Mo Amer, Maz Jobrani, Nemr Nemr, Vir Das and Qatar's very own stand-up comedy pioneer, Hamad Al Ammari.

More than a dozen venues including malls, the Cultural Village, Souq Waqif, Souq Al Wakrah, Aspire Park and Aqua Park have witnessed hundreds of visitors daily to watch and take part in various events and activities.
