Jordan- Russian ambassador to Sudan found dead
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug. 24(Petra)-- Russia's ambassador to Sudan, Mirgayas Shirinskiy, was found dead on Wednesday at his home's swimming pool in Khartoum, the Sudanese police announced.
The police spokesperson said that the ambassador, who was known to have suffered from high blood pressure, is believed to have died of natural causes.
Sudan's foreign ministry expressed in a statement its condolences to Russia, hailing Shirinskiy's in enhancing diplomatic efforts between the two countries.
