Consumer confidence in UK hits lower rate since July
(MENAFN) Surveys showed that UK consumer confidence index had hit its lowest level since last July, after the UK voted for Brexit.
In details, it dropped by 0.2 points from the previous month to 107.9, even though a score over 100 indicates positive outlook.
On the other hand, forecasts for household finances over the next 12 months also dropped whereas workers' job security fell to lowest rate since April 2013.
According to the survey, it found homeowners more optimistic about property prices, which follows a growth in Q4 of 2016 by 0.7% which means Britain's growth is slowing down.
