Business Creates Deck of Cards to Make Eyes Hurt
CIRCLEVILLE OHIO - MAY 5 2015 — Newt's Playing Cards has created a deck of cards that features psychedelic designs that are intended to freak you out and make your eyes hurt. For the brave there is also a GLOW-IN-THE-DARK version.
As a standard deck of cards it allows for normal card play with most card games but the card faces and backs include various pipes bar codes googly faces and more to add to the warped dimension of the deck. The objective was to make the deck difficult to view but fun to play with.
As an alternative there is also another deck which has the same design with the exception that it will GLOW-IN-THE-DARK. Depending on how much money is raised during the “crowd funding” campaign it will determine the amount of colors that will actually “glow”. At a minimum if funded the deck will have yellow GLOW-IN-THE-DARK ink on the card backs card faces and the tuck box. If two seperate stretch goals are met then green and pink GLOW-IN-THE-DARK ink will be added respectively.
The project launched on Kickstarter April 21 2015 and ends May 21 2015. Those who wish to view this eye burning deck of cards may do so by using the following mini URL: goo.gl/ADzWFr
