(MENAFN- QNA) In partnership with the Qatar Museums Authority, the Doha Film Institute continues its commitment to reflecting Qatar’s annual cultural partnerships with the DFI Brazil Cinema Showcase on September 25-26, 2014.
The initiative celebrates Qatar-Brazil 2014 with a monthly presentation of exceptional classic and contemporary films that highlight the rich diversity of Brazil’s cinematic history and bring audiences unforgettable works from internationally renowned directors. Screenings take place on the last weekend of each month at the MIA Auditorium.
The program includes: The Boy at the Five by Marcelo Matos de Oliveira & Wallace Nogueira, The Mai Brothers by Thais Fujinaga, Sana by Marcos Pimentel, the Comforting Hand by Gabriela Amaral Almeida and To Sleep Quietly by Juliana Rojas.
