McLaren to boost production in UAE

(MENAFN) McLaren Automotive, a limited-edition sports cars maker, said it will boost its production after making profit for the first time, according to Arabian Business. McLaren, the main shareholder of Bahrain's Mumtalakat investment fund, became a sister company to the Formula One motor racing team in 2010. The company expects its competition with luxuy car brands, such as Porsche, Audi and Aston Martin, to increase after the expansion project. The company's pretax profit was estimated at USD7.5 million in 2013.
