India to continue importing oil from Iran
(MENAFN) Indian Foreign Secretary, Ranjan Mathai, confirmed that his country plans on continuing the importing of Iranian oil, reported Tehran Times.
Mathai said that Iran remains a vital supplier of crude to India, despite the sanctions imposed on the Islamic republic.
It is worth mentioning that India is among Asia's major importers of energy, and relies on India to satisfy a portion of its energy requirements.
