BDS adds US church resolution to achievement list

(MENAFN) A 2 million followers' church has announced its implementation of human rights resolutions which will set a screening mechanism for Israeli companies.

The vote on the resolutions, which took place on Friday at the Episcopal Church's headquarters in Austin, Texas, is considered a new victory for the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

The movement is supported by a number of American churches, most recently the Presbyterian Church in June, preceded by the United Church of Christ and the Churches of Christ.

It's worth mentioning that this is the second defeat for he Zionist state, as Irish Senate passed a new law on Wednesday banning the import and sale of Israeli goods or services produced in settlements built in the occupied Palestinian territories.
