Oman- Summer Camp 2018 organised by Ministry of Sports Affairs at Al Hail Cricket Club


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Ministry of Sports Affairs has taken some pathbreaking initiatives for introducing various sports activities during the summer months. Under this programme, cricket has been chosen as one of the main stream sport to be introduced. The ministry has chosen the Al Hail Cricket Academy to undertake and lead the cricketing initiative, which is a huge honour and recognition for the academy.

Ruqaiya al Jabri, chairperson of the Main Committee of the Summer Sports Programme, will grace the opening of the Summer Camp being held at the Al Hail Club under the auspices of the Ministry of Sports Affairs. Abdul GhanialBalushi, head coach, Al Hail School of Cricket, stated that the Summer Camp will run up to July 31. He added that players can expect an expertly designed and delivered fun-filled month of cricket coaching, games and cricket skill development, all inside the world class, fully grassed ground. All activities will be run by fully qualified, professional coaching team of Omani/expats.

The camp is for boys aged between 5-19 years. Whether it's your first experience with cricket or you are an existing Al Hail School of Cricket Warrior, the academy invites players from others academies/teams/clubs to join the summer camp. To attend the camp after enrollment, all players must wear suitable cricket clothing and shoes which the academy can facilitate to purchase; players are welcome to use their own equipment as well.
