Oman- Bank Sohar picks 45 winners for 5th Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme Monthly Draws


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Bank Sohar recently held its fifth monthly draws under the Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme consisting of its bank-wide General Draws, Children's Draws, Women's Draws, Exclusive Draws and Special Branch Draws.

Together, the draws witnessed the reveal of another 45 lucky customers to have won cash prizes. Hosted at the bank's Al Khaas Relationship Banking Branch in Qurm, the event was held under the patronage of H H Sayyid Marwan bin Turki al Said. Representing Bank Sohar at the event were Rajeev Arora, DGM and head of Retail Banking, Khamis Masoud al Rahbi, senior AGM Retail Banking, Ahmed Rashid al Salmi, AGM and head consumer lending and product development, and Zaher al Harrasi, senior branch manager of Qurm branch. The event was initiated by welcoming the guest of honour to the branch and giving him an introduction about the saving scheme before conducting the draws. After the draws, the team thanked the guest of honour and presented him a token of appreciation for gracing the event. Abdulmajeed al Ajmi and C, Delis won RO10,000 in the Exclusive Draws. The Monthly Special Branch Draws witnessed customers from each of the bank's branches win RO1,000 each. Under the bank's general draws the 2018 edition of Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme offers a chance to win RO1,000 daily, as well as RO5,000 monthly (two winners), and RO20,000 at year's end (four winners). Awarding minors and encouraging them and their parents to save, the Children's Draw offers RO100 daily, RO500 monthly (two winners) and RO2,500 at year's end (four winners). Incorporating the female segment of the customer base, the scheme offers dedicated female draws of RO500 daily, RO2,500 monthly (two winners) and RO10,000 at year's end (four winners). Rewarding those that save more, the Exclusive Draws offer RO1,500 daily, RO10,000 monthly (two winners) and RO50,000 at year's end (four winners). Ensuring that it rewards customers at each and every branch, special branch draws offer RO1,000 monthly for one lucky winner in each respective locale nationwide. To become eligible customers need to maintain a minimum monthly average balance of RO100 for the daily general, children's and ladies draws; the monthly children and branch draws; as well as the Children's Draw at year's end. Entry into the monthly and annual selection requires a minimum monthly average balance of RO1,000. For eligibility to the monthly female and general draws as well as the year's end ladies and General Draws, customers need to maintain a minimum monthly average balance off RO1,000.
