(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- H E Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Obaid al Sa'eedi, Minister of Health received Rosalind Campion, director of international trade in the Directorate General of Exports in the UK last week.
During the meeting, they reviewed the aspects of joint cooperation, focusing on the health projects to be implemented between the two countries, as well as the opportunities for cooperation and trade in health.
The sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Health (MoH), is currently building a number of hospitals in the country through trade cooperation with the UK.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed on a mechanism to follow up and strengthen the existing projects and work on building a permanent partnership that will ensure the interest of the two countries in healthcare.
The meeting was attended by H E Hamish Cowell, UK's Ambassador to Oman.
