Pakistan- Iftar dinner arranged at Bakakhel camp


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) BANNU: A tribal elder and social activist of North Waziristan Agency on Tuesday arranged Iftar dinner for hundreds of people at Bakakhel camp.

Local sources said food items were distributed among over a thousand displaced families at Bakakhel camp on the occasion. The food items included beverages, fruits, rice and other items.

Chief of Waziristan Malik Naseerullah Khan and other elders told the media on the occasion that the tribal people should not consider them alone in presence of people like Haji Muhammad Iqbal. They said although the Pakistan Army is also providing facilities to the displaced people, but these facilities should be increased.

The tribal elders called upon the government to ensure early repatriation of displaced people in North Waziristan. They said displaced people should return to the areas cleared by the security forces without delay.
