Kuwait bourse benchmark loses 1.23 points
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, May 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's stock exchange, known as Boursa Kuwait, kicked off the week's trading on Sunday with the benchmark index losing 1.23 points down to 4799.91 points, a decline of 0.03 percent.
The All Share trade volume hit 17.4.5 million shares, conducted through 1,069 spot deals, worth KD 3.8 million (USD 12.5 million).
The Main Market Index also plummeted by 12.98 points (0.27 percent) to land at 4851.04 points, while some 10.2 million stocks were traded through 571 deals worth KD 752,8 (USD 2.4 million).
Meanwhile, the Premier Market Index rose by 5.2 points (0.11 percent) to reach 4771.06 points.
Trade stocks hit 7.2 million in 498 deals worth KD three million (USD 9.9 million). (end) mka.ht.nam
