(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Katara Beach Volleyball Championship's 2018 opener ended with a 2-0 victory for the Jaoan team over Duhail, while the second match saw a win for the Maamoura team against Muntazah with a final score of 2-1.
In a report yesterday, Katara the Cultural Village Foundation said the third match between the Sharq and Merqab teams ended in a 2-1 victory for the latter.
While Merqab team won the first set 25-23, the second set went to Sharq, again with a score of 25-23. The final set saw the Merqab team win 15-8 to clinch the match.
The fourth edition of Katara's beach volleyball tournament is being held during the holy month of Ramadan.
