Dr. Bhanja is dual board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, in Hematology and in Medical Oncology, and he provides diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of cancer-related conditions and blood disorders. Conditions treated by him include lung cancer, breast cancer, GI cancers, GU cancers, head and neck cancers, hematologic malignancies. He also treats various benign hematologic disorders including sickle cell anemia, thalassemia, hemophilia as well as bleeding and clotting disorders. He has dedicated his life to providing the highest standard of quality care to his patients.
Dr. Bhanja is committed to staying current with the latest advances and developments in his field, and he is a distinguished member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Medical Association. Moreover, he has also had several research papers published in his field and had been the recipient of several professional honors and awards. He is actively involved in various socio-philanthropic and charitable activities in the community.
