(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Seattle : Federal Judge James Robert in issued a temporary nationwide restraining order today stopping US President Trump's executive order banning citizens from certain Muslim-majority countries from entering the US.

Judge Robert ruled that the executive order would cease immediately.

The travel and tourism industry world wide was in opposition of the ban, with organizations such as the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), and the International Council of Tourism Partners (ICTP), along with US associations such as the US Travel Association and the ACLU issuing strong statements against the executive order.

And let us also mention that people around the globe have been rallying against the travel ban in their own cities and at airports.

At last, a federal judge had the courage to do something to stop the travel ban.

Trump signed the 90-day travel ban a week ago to prevent citizens from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen from entering America, calling them 'countries of concern.'
